Work-Family Compatibility Department

The goal of the university’s contact point for work-life balance is to develop, implement, and review measures to promote the reconciliation of professional and family life for members of the university. In addition to individual counseling, needs assessment, and the development of targeted offers, the department coordinates family-friendly initiatives. As the central point of contact for questions regarding work-life balance, it works closely with local institutions and is actively represented in national networks. In addition to providing support, it raises awareness and provides information on the topic of balancing professional and family obligations toward minors and/or relatives in need of care.

After registering, you will receive information via email about our diverse events for your family, great childcare options for your children, and the care of relatives.

The Family Campus Plan provides an overview of counseling facilities, childcare services, changing facilities, and playgrounds near the campus.

During the semester, summer, and autumn holidays, children aged 3 to 12 enjoy an exciting and eventful day-long holiday experience while gaining knowledge.

Offers for employees, students, and their children range from children’s lectures and family workshops to information sessions on the care of relatives.
